Listed below are scholarship opportunities that the Counseling Office is made aware of.  There are many more scholarships out there – they just require some extra work to seek them out.  Students are encouraged to visit www.fastweb.com and bigfuture.collegeboard.org to research two of the largest, most reputable, and free online scholarship search engines.  Please do not ever pay a fee to apply for a scholarship.  The legitimate ones are completely free.

Holland Optimist Club Essay Contest Open to Zeeland East and West seniors.  Short essay contest surrounding the topic “Can Society Function Without Respect?”  One East and one West senior will receive this award. Holland Optimist Club Essay Contest $500 April 20, 2018

 Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation Scholarship  Open to high school seniors who plan to attend college, university, trade or tech school full time upon graduation.  One’s family does NOT need to be a member of the masonic lodge to participate.  Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation Scholarship  up to $1500 contact the local Holland lodge for deadline details
